Job Description

Operations & Service Excellence

  • Oversee daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor food and beverage preparation to maintain quality, hygiene, and presentation standards.
  • Implement SOPs for service, cleanliness, and health & safety compliance.
  • Ensure equipment, stock, and seating areas are well-maintained and ready for operations.

Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise café staff (baristas, servers, kitchen staff, etc.).
  • Motivate and monitor staff performance, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and staff evaluations.
  • Handle disciplinary actions and resolve conflicts when necessary.

Financial & Business Management

  • Manage café budgets, sales targets, and cost controls.
  • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and control wastage.
  • Analyze sales reports and customer feedback to improve operations and profitability.
  • Develop marketing strategies, promotions, and events to drive footfall and revenue.

Customer Relations

  • Ensure every guest receives a warm welcome and outstanding service.
  • Handle customer complaints or escalations promptly and professionally.
  • Build strong relationships with regular customers and community partners.

Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and ambiance standards in line with brand image.
  • Stay updated with café industry trends and introduce new menu ideas or service improvements.
